  1. HERALDIC CONTENT & RESEARCH

Heraldry Studies conducts research using historical records, public archives, heraldic databases, and scholarly sources to create family coat of arms designs and surname histories. However:

  • We do not guarantee the historical or genealogical accuracy of any crest, surname origin, or family history presented.
  • Many surnames have multiple unrelated branches, and heraldic symbols may differ by region, spelling, and historical lineage. A shared surname does not by itself establish a shared ancestry or a shared right to the same historical arms.
  • Our work is not a substitute for professional genealogical certification or government recognized heraldic registration, and it does not constitute one.
  • The crests we provide are artistic representations, not legal titles, nobility entitlements, or proof of personal descent from any historical bearer of those arms.
  1. AI ASSISTED RESEARCH AND PRODUCTION

Heraldry Studies uses a combination of historical archives, proprietary and third party heraldic databases, human review, and artificial intelligence tools to research surnames, draft family history summaries, and generate or refine artwork and imagery. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Research summaries, surname histories, and origin narratives are generated with the assistance of automated and AI based tools, reviewed by our team, and may contain approximations, generalizations, or errors. They are provided for entertainment, artistic, and decorative purposes, not as verified genealogical, historical, or legal fact.
  • References in our materials to "records," "archives," or similar terms describe historical documentation of surname usage within heraldic sources. They are not an official or government verified genealogical record of your personal ancestry.
  • Product mockups, previews, and imagery generated or refined with AI assisted tools are representative. The finished product you receive may vary in exact detail, color, or composition from what is shown during the research or ordering process.
  1. SYMBOLIC & ARTISTIC NATURE OF PRODUCTS

Our products are symbolic in nature and are offered as commemorative art. They are not meant to:
